Phone while driving
Cell phones have become the latest craze in recent times, not just because of its basic functions of making and receiving calls, but for its hi-tech functions such as taking pictures, surfing the Internet, downloading files, listening to radio and even watching films.
No doubt it has become a global phenomenon. The influx of Blackberries, iphones and other brands which have completely transformed the conventional manner of communication and has also made working more effective and life a bit easier attests to this. Swedish telecommunications company, Ericsson announced recently that over 5 billion phones are now in use worldwide.
It has also impacted on the lives of every man either in the opulent areas of the city or the rural areas.
Most cell phones are post-modern in design, use and functions, and have become catalysts of the process of globalisation.
