Nigeria’s first choice goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama, has said winning the 2012 Nations Cup will ensure the Super Eagles bury the derogatory nickname ‘Super Chickens’ some disappointed fans now prefer to call the team.
Nigeria have held out so much promise over the years, but their last continental triumph was 16 years ago in Tunisia and they have flattered to deceive at full international level ever since.
“My dream is for the Eagles to win the 2012 Africa Nations Cup. I will do everything to make it happen even if that would be my last games for the national team, I will definitely do it,” a fired-up Enyeama told MTNFootball.com
“I just wish God will grant me the power to make Nigerians happy again,” he added.
