To most people, owning a business is a cherished dream, no matter how small it may be. In most cases, people do fulfil the dream but such businesses, especially small businesses, die before their second anniversary. Often, the death of such businesses has to do with personal management failures on the part of the owner.
However, the negative trends in nations‘ economies in the last few years appear to have made novices of, even the best of managers. In Nigeria, big companies have been failing, just as mortality among small businesses has soared.
