Easing passengers screening hassles at airport

SHOULD air passengers be spared of airport security checks such as being asked to remove their shoes, belts, open bags, raise hands or having laptops opened and other instructions from security officers during screening at the airports?

However, some passengers want these security checks to be cancelled, as they assessed them to be time wasting and stressful.
But, oftentimes when there is a delay, it could be that the security personnel have discovered something on the x-ray that needs to be looked into, or the person sitting there watching the machine might be new and a lot slower than other security officers. Also, you realise that if the x-ray officer is not moving the belt forward then there is a reason for it. Ordinarily, they may not want to hold you up, but they are only doing the job to the best of their abilities. So if you obey them with respect, they will treat you with respect.
