Motorists who spoke with the News Agency of Nigeria complained that the Kaiama axis of the road in Bayelsa State was gradually deteriorating.
They said that vehicular traffic between Warri and Port Harcourt was stalled for several hours last weekend owing to the situation of the road, which also serves as a link to the South East.
They called on the Federal Government to expedite the dualisation of the East/West road to lessen the hardship faced by commuters on the road.
