As the year 2010 is gradually winding up, the Standard Organization of Nigeria (SON) has directed all industries, whether small or large scale to ensure that all their products are brought to SON for quality certification, otherwise, erring industries risk being closed down by the organisation.
Director- General of the organization, Dr John Ndanusa Akanya gave the directive in Ilorin recently while handing over certificates of quality to Global Soap and Detergent Industry, Ilorin, having met the quality standard set by the organisation.
Dr John Ndanusa Akanya who gave the certificates to the Managing Director of the company Princess (Mrs) Omolola Olobayo, at the ceremony in the company’s premises noted that the company has been known to be quality conscious since inception.
Global Soap and Detergent Company is a subsidiary of Doyin Group of Companies, with the headquarters in Lagos.
The products are Wash rite, Flash Detergent, and Vogue Soap which are classified in Gold category and Bold Detergent, Ariel Detergent, Bold Laundry Soap and High clean Laundry Soap.resilient in its efforts because the products can still be much better, quality is an endless journey, it has a beginning, no end” he explained.
