Raul celebrates one of his two goals as Schalke finally moved out of the bottom three of the Bundesliga
Bundesliga strugglers Schalke moved out of the bottom three for the first time this season, as veteran Spanish striker Raul helped himself to two goals in a comfortable 3-0 home win over St Pauli on Friday evening.
Raul gave Schalke a 14th-minute lead and his former Real Madrid teammate Klass-Jan Huntelaar doubled their advantage eight minutes after the break.
Raul added his second, and Schalke's third, nine minutes from time to lift Felix Magath's side up two places to 15th in the table, on nine points -- while St Pauli remain in 13th place.
The victory, only Schalke's second of a disastrous season so far, also provided last season's runners-up with their first clean sheet since February 2010.
