When Omoni looks at you, you get the feeling that she’s probing your soul and innermost thoughts. Perhaps the sharpness of her gaze is effect of the contact lenses, but her views about what she believes in are even sharper, like when she says acting nude is “trash”. She was once offered a role to act nude and be in bed with three men for a handsome amount and she turned it down. In this encounter, she touched on her professional life and aspects of her private life that she hardly ever touched in past media exposures; for instance, her three gorgeous and adorable sons who forced me into a game of Wii while waiting for Mummy to make her way downstairs to their spacious living room. It was interesting watching the actress make a transition from a doting, attentive and caring mother to a stern disciplinarian. She spoke of the arduous task of shooting ‘The Figurine’, the award-winning flick by Kunle Afolayan, and how the recently released ‘Anchor Baby’ drained her emotionally, becoming her most challenging role to date.
