Former Super Eagles captain, Sunday Oliseh, is set to replace James Peters as the Technical Director of the Nigeria Football Federation.
The NFF Vice-President Mike Umeh confirmed on Monday that the board had decided to sack former Flying Eagles coach Peters as part of efforts to revive Nigerian football.
Reports on Tuesday however claimed that the former Juventus midfielder Oliseh was ahead of other Nigerians being considered for the job.
Atlanta‘96 Olympic Games gold medallist Oliseh is said to be highly interested in the job, after missing out on a chance to coach the Eagles. He applied for the job after the German Berti Vogts dumped the Eagles after the Ghana 2008 Nations Cup, but the NFF settled for Shaibu Amodu.
