Many people thought she wasn’t going to get back the pieces of her life when she broke up with Gulder Ultimate winner, Dominic Mudabai. However, Cynthia Okpala, MTV video jockey, has proved her detractors wrong. Not only has she moved on with her life, she has got married again and she is now living on cloud nine.
That was the mood she was in last Saturday night at the MTV Base nominees party in Lagos, where the newly-wedded couple were present.
The VJ exchanged marital vows with her fiancé, Ozoemena Mbanefo. The wedding, which took place at the Sheraton Hotel, Lagos, was attended by close friends and Babaeko, Ayo Animashaun, Ayeni Adekunle, Sam Onyemelukwe, J Martins and Charles Novia.
The 24-year-old is the only Nigerian VJ and she is a computer science graduate from Ebonyi State University.
She first came to public attention after winning a nationwide MTN-sponsored MTV VJ Search in November 2007.
