The seizure of fairly-used electronics belonging to a group of importers by the Nigerian Environmental Standards and Regulations Enforcement Agency is brewing controversy.
The importers, under the aegis of the Association of Importers of Fairly-Used Electronics and Allied Products, Alaba International Market, Lagos, have called on the Federal Government to prevail on NESREA to release their seized goods unconditionally, describing the seizure as ‘illegal and fraudulent.’
