No coach, except Siasia is sure of NFA job now , Green

SIASIA
Despite their exploits with their various national teams, none of the present coaches of the nation’s national teams, except Samson Siasia who will be unveiled by the Nigeria Football Association, NFA on Monday, is sure of keeping his or her job.
This affirmation was given by the chairman of the NFA Technical Committee, Mr Chris Green during the week while speaking on a Top Radio sports programme monitored in Lagos.
According to Mr Green, the NFA wants to review the appointments of coaches in the employ of the association as well as salaries as he affirmed that talks are still on with Sunday Oliseh on his employment by the NFA.
He said the disparity between Siasia’s salary and the other coaches on the employ of the NFA is not new, stressing that that is what obtains all over the world.
“There is nothing wrong with the difference in salary between Siasia and the other coaches. Even in England the national team coach earns for much than coaches of the other junior teams. We are going to review all the appointments, no coach is sure of his or her job now,” he said.
On Oliseh, the Technical Committee boss said “Oliseh is 90 per cent close to getting the (NFA) job as denied knowing what coaches of the other national teams earn as they were not employed by the present Board.
He also explained that following the suspension slammed on Dr. Amos Adamu, the NFA had to forward the name of its former chairman, Alhaji Ibrahim Galadima to beat the Monday November 22 mid night deadline on the submission of nominations for the election into the CAF Executive Committee scheduled for February next year.
