ORGANISERS of the 2010 All Africa Challenge Trophy, (AACT) billed to take place at the IBB International Golf and Country Club, Abuja, have announced the arrival date of some of the African lady players expected to compete at the continental honour.
Chairman of the organising committee, Pamela Wu, revealed that both Gabon and Ghana were billed to touch down in Abuja today for the event, adding: “We have more African countries confirming their arrival date for the event.
“Ghana and Gabon would be the first to be here and we are ready with preparation to welcome them and the other 14 nations that the event would feature. Other nations are expected to arrive in the country on November 6 for the event.”
Meanwhile, the Nigerian team to the event has been narrowed down to three players - Amina Wilfred, Rachael Danjuma and Diana Okah. Okah is the most experienced team member and is expected to help chart Nigeria’s way to its best ever appearance in the event.
