Police Arrest Five Over Ogun Muder
The Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad on Monday announced the arrest of five persons in connection with the murder of three persons in Owode-Egba, Ogun State.
The Commissioner in-charge FSARS Annex, Adeniji Adele, Mr. Jubril Adeniji, told the News Agency of Nigeria that two other persons connected with the murder were still at large.
Adeniji explained that the incident which took place on August 8 in Owode-Egba in Obafemi Owode Local Government Area of Ogun, followed a rivalry crisis between two groups in the community.
He said that one of the groups named Federal Troupe was headed by one Dotun (aka Lobito) while the other faction was headed by Muritala, now deceased.
Adeniji added that the three victims were murdered and their bodies hidden for four days in a plantain farm and were decomposing before they were discovered.
